The Cine Philo (like the Café Philo, from which derive their origin) represent a new trend or rather a new way to combine film and philosophy also well they are held for years in various parts of the world and want to be public discussions, open to participation by anyone interested.
The combination of film-philosophy at first glance might make a strange effect as we have been always accustomed to see and study the history of philosophy as a philosophy or as a literary history, but nowadays you can and you should also start "think" in developing an alternative philosophical culture through images, photography and cinema.
Just because the film could offer a new language to philosophy, combining images and thoughts, emotions and rationality, reinforcing the conceptual possibilities of the same philosophy.
Attending a film screening, forcing the viewer to confront the see with the eyes of the mind, since each image is hidden behind the eye of the beholder and this is a philosophical problem. The power of images and artistic creativity of the film offers us a different reflection on the reality that surrounds us.
